There are a countless number of tributaries within the Chagres National Park of indescribable beauty, all contributing to the majestic volume of this great river. Among them is the Quebrada Iguana which descends from high up in the hills with its crystal clear fresh water falling on basaltic rock formations creating a chain of waterfalls cascading from different levels, all surrounded by a rich, dense and humid tropical jungle. Nine waterfalls are used in this activity which demands extreme dominance.
 
To face this challenge we utilize the CANONISMO technique, one which was derived from mountain climbing wherein the ropes and hooks become the basic tools used against gravity on the slopes left wet and humid from the torrential waterfall, making you feel the adrenaline run through your veins just like the waters cascading down the slopes.
We are filled with emotion and much personal satisfaction after completing this challenge, which takes between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the group.
 
Once we have overcome this test we visit the TUSI PONO village of our friends, the EMBERA Indians, who delights us with food, dances, history and typical craft for us to remember their culture.
The combination of these two activities is without a doubt very delightful to all who participate and will be long remembered being the topic of conversation among our families and friends.
Of course, all of our activities of adventure begin early in the morning when we pick up our guests at our departure point and they end in the evening when we return to this point. The whole trip takes 7 to 8 complete hours.
Wear comfortable clothing, that cover the must possible your body. Wear boots for hiking or sport shoes that cover all your foot. Bring clothing for change at the end of the tour, repellent, hat and sun block.
