A great experience, a great challenge for all those who believe are really intrepid. Combining two (2) different tours in one, a relaxing and pleasant experience with a lot of native identity. All this surrounded by the dense and rich Tropical Rain Forest witch is part of Panama, Chagres National Park, one of the most interesting wildlife refugees of our country.

Everything starts early in the morning when we pick up our clients at the meeting place. Then we will go to Chagres National Park a trip of about one hour. We will continue our tour until reaching the closest point to a group of interesting limestone formation that has created caves.

The caves of Chagres National Park are ancient (around the same age of the Isthmus formation) and natural beauty, its conformation is a little humid and has insects, reptiles, and flying mammals. The caves are a place with a short distance in between and it is possible to enjoy quiet well the scenery provided by stalactites and stalagmites of a important size; this have the peculiar characteristic of producing sounds similar to bells with the softest touch, all this with a relative duration. In this caves, it is possible to find vestiges of ancient inhabitants that might use this stone formation like refugee from the weather, the beasts, enemies, or like hiding place for treasures during the Spanish Colony. We will be in the caves in between 1-½ hours to 2 hours.
Once we have completed our visit to the caves, our brothers Embera will take us to their village to give us a demonstration of their ancestral (ancient) culture. History, culture, dances, handcraft to buy like souvenirs and a delicious “Odia”(meal in Embera language) prepared for us. In the village, we will rest of our long journey and get ready for a safe and dry way back to Panama City.
Wear comfortable clothing, that cover the must possible your body. Wear boots for hiking or sport shoes that cover all your foot. Bring clothing for change at the end of the tour, repellent, hat and sun block.
