It is a relaxing and beautiful experience, with so much traditional flavor. All this happen surround of the rich tropical jungle in the Chagres National Park, one of the most important wild life refuge in Panama.
All begin very early in the morning, when our transport go pickup you at your hotel. We take the high way to go out of the city with direction to Chagres National Park, this panoramic travel take about an hour.

We will arrive to El Corotu, point where we change our transport. Our friends Embera will transfer through the Alajuela Lake and the Chagres River in his piraguas (dugout boats). This water reserve is very important for Panama City and the Panama Canal operations. After 35 minutes of this panoramic travel in the Chagres River, we arrive to a small creek with the name Bonita Creek. In this place we will begin an interesting hiking through the jungle for 20 minutes follow the creek, until arrive a spectacular water fall with a natural pool. We can swim in this place, rest and take beautiful pictures.

When we fill satisfies and our cameras are full in images, begin the return to the piraguas to travel about 15 minutes until the village Tusipono Embera, when our friends Embera wait for us with all theirs traditions and culture. They have prepared a meal for us, traditional dancing, music, and theirs real Tambos (houses) are open for us and we can dance with them, we can paint our body if we want and much more.

The visit, include an explanation about their life, language, traditions, and our guides will translate for us the information.
In the village we can get souvenirs made with different material for the craftsman Embera native. This souvenir has great quality, beauty and value.
At the end of this visit our friends Embera transfer us to the initial point where we toke the piraguas to our transportation to Panama City.
Wear comfortable clothing, that cover the must possible your body. Wear boots for hiking or sport shoes that cover all your foot. Bring clothing for change at the end of the tour, repellent, hat and sun block.
